At an angle to the camera, from the right side of the image to past the center, is a gray-colored two-story building. One window is visible on the lower floor, and four on the second floor. There is a doorway on both floors at the center of the building, and there is a deck with a railing in front of the upper door, with stairs descending both to the left and right. A tree is visible at the right, and at the left are other buildings with more trees behind them. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#287" and "10/24/29". On the back is stamped "2413" and in pencil is "03".
The print is inserted, together with a negative of the image, into a brown envelope that has typed "Sacramento--Interior of Sutter's Fort--Museum 10/24/29". Stamped is "287" and "indexed".Made/Created
