Mike Ostrander, 1977. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a man "(Mike Ostrander) posing for photos in his store, Coast-to-Coast. Mr. Ostrander has hair which is thinning on top, and large sideburns. He is wearing a thin jacket with a patch on the right breast. This patch reads "C to C" and has an illustration of a map of the United States at the center. He has three pens in his right breast pocket. He has a ring on his right ring finger. He is wearing plaid pants. Mr. Ostrander has his right arm resting on a display of batteries. To the right of Mr. Ostrander is a row of bicycles. Beyond the bicycles are many different electronic items. Image 10 shows Mr. Ostrander from the hips up. He is looking toward the camera and not smiling. Image 11 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has zoomed in or moved closer to Mr. Ostrander. Here he is shown from the waist up. Image 12 is nearly identical to image 11. Image 13 is similar to the previous three images, but here the photographer has zoomed out or moved farther away from Mr. Ostrander. Here Mr. Ostrander is shown from the knees up. His head and body are turned partially toward the left-hand side of the image. Image 14 is nearly identical to image 13.
