Patsy Walker, 1975. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two women working on an art or craft project, a small carved wooden sea captain, and a freestanding single-car garage. Image 32 shows two women seated in folding chairs at a small table. It is unclear which woman is Patsy Walker. Both women are facing away from the camera. The woman at left is wearing a t-shirt and a bonnet-type hat. The woman at right is wearing glasses and a patterned, button-up short sleeved shirt. The woman at right is painting on a small substrate. There is a sign on the table which reads at the top "FINGERPRINT." At the bottom of the sign is a partially visible word which may read "BENEFIELD." Other tables and framed piece of art on easels are visible in the upper-left quadrant of the image. Image 33 shows a closer-up view of the woman at the right in the previous image. Image 34 shows a small woodcarving meant to resemble a bearded sea captain. Image 35 shows a freestanding single-car garage. A large sign is on the ground to the left of the building. This sign reads "BROOKDALE LUMBER," "GARAGES CABINS" and "PHONE." The garage door is open, and the garage door opening is oriented toward the right-hand side of the image. A wooden fence is visible to the right of the garage.Made/Created
