Description

Light blue glass Ball 1 quart canning jar with wire bail (no lid). Jar is cylindrical. There are no screw threads. The lip is smooth with a lower, wider flat surface of a size that would fit a rubber seal. Mold seams on sides extend from bottom circular mold seam up to and over lip. Bottom mold seam is circular 3" diameter. The following is embossed: On side near lip: "wire side" "21443" On the side: "Ball" "Ideal" "Pat D July 14 1908" On the bottom: "2" with a short horizontal line below. The base of the jar a circle inside the mold seam that is slightly off center.
