Description

11/6/14 Clear glass Ball 1 pint canning jar. The jar is cylindrical with a flat top and a flat surface for a rubber seal and a wire bail. The mold seams on the side extend from the circular seam on the bottom up to and over the lip. The mold seam on the bottom is circular. There is a horizontal mold seam where the narrower top portion meets the wider base. The following is embossed: On the side - "Ball" "Ideal" "pat'd July 14, 1908. On the bottom "6" or "9" There is no underlining to distinguish. RFJ
