Description

Clear glass Ball 1 quart canning jar. The jar is cylindrical in shape with a flat top, a flat surface for a rubber seal, and a wire bail. There are no screw threads. The mold seams on the side extend from the bottom circular seam up to and over the lip. The mold seam on the bottom is circular with a second seam inside but slightly off center. The following is embossed: On the side near the mouth - "wire side" "1" On the side - "Ball" "Ideal" "Pat D July 14, 1908" On the bottom "8".
