Black and white negative of Sutter's Fort Museum in Sacramento. In the foreground is lawn. At an angle to the camera, from the right side of the image to past the center, is a gray-colored, two-story building. One window is visible on the lower floor, and four on the second floor. There is a doorway on both floors at the center of the building, and there is a deck with a railing in front of the upper door, with stairs descending both to the left and right. A tree is visible at the right, and at the left are other buildings with more trees behind them. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#287" and "10/24/29".
The negative is inserted, together with a print of the image, into a brown envelope that has typed "Sacramento--Interior of Sutter's Fort--Museum 10/24/29". Stamped is "287" and "indexed".Made/Created
