Description

Small horseshoe that is completely covered with rust. One side is rounded and the other is flat. There are two holes visible for nails. It is thicker on the left side (when the flat side is up). There are grooves on each side and indentations where other nail holes were, but those holes are closed by the rusting process. The thicker side extends further toward the heel. The thicker (and longer) side has a projection at the tip that was probably a calk (for friction).
