Kiwanis Scholarship Winners, 1975. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show one young woman and one young man standing in a row with an older man. At left is a young woman with long hair, bangs and glasses. She is wearing a floral-print dress. At center is a young man with shoulder-length wavy hair. He is wearing a crew-neck sweater over a collared shirt. At right is a man with glasses wearing a suit jacket and diagonal-striped tie. On this man's left lapel is a large, round pinback button or badge which reads "KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL" around the outside edge. The woman is slightly closer to the camera than the other two men, and she is shown from the mid-torso up. Her body is oriented toward the right-hand side of the image and her head is turned toward the camera. She is smiling. The young man's head and body are turned slightly toward the right-hand side of the image frame. He is looking toward the camera and smiling. He is shown from the waist up. The older man's head and body are oriented toward the camera. He is also shown from the waist up. Hanging on the wall in the background is a large sign which reads "KIWANIS CLUB." Image 3 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has stepped to their right slightly and either moved away or zoomed out from the three people. Image 4 is very similar to image 3, but here there is a vertically-sectioned frosted window in the background. Image 5 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has moved approximately two feet to their right.Made/Created
