Description

Zinc and glass lid for canning jar. The gray lid has female threads to fit on the male threads of a mason jar. There are 1" and 1.75" concentric circles impressed on the top. The inside of the lid has a white milk glass lining with the following embossed in capital letters: "genuine porcelain lined mason cap B-69." The liner has a .5" circle in the center and a thicker protrusion 1.75" in diameter. The zinc is slightly corroded on the inside and the outside shows wear from handling. Lying loosely inside the lid are three rubber jar lid seals. The seals are red in color, rubber in material, and show a pressure impression the matches the sealing edge of a small glass lid. The seals do not match or fit the zinc lid.
