Description

Curved cast metal wrench with an open-end fitting for a nut on each end and a square closed fitting for a nut near one end. The object was used for adjusting and tightening nuts and other fittings on a buggy, particularly on the wheels and axles. Cast onto the side of the wrench is "F 153". The object has been covered with a black paint, but the paint is mostly worn away. There is a light film of rust. Probably belonged to Benjamin B. Turner, the donor's grandfather. This is probably a wrench made by Oliver Plow Works of South Bend, Indiana.
