Cast iron Water Barn Well Pulley used to lift buckets of water to the surface from the bottom of the well. The object consists of a wheel with a groove in which a rope fits, with the wheel fastened by a pivot pin into a framework that has a curved cover over the top of the wheel and a hook with which to hang the pulley above a well. The whole assembly is rusty and the pivot pin is worn so that the wheel wobbles and is quite loose. The wheel has curved spokes and the frame has curved support pieces.Made/Created
