Description

Metal forestry tool used to support a crosscut saw while bucking a fallen tree. The object consists of a long rod upon which a square metal piece slides back and forth. At one end of the sliding piece is a threaded handle that can be tightened to lock the sliding piece in place. At the other end of the sliding piece is a rotating wheel with three parallel grooves into which the saw would fit. One end of the rod is flattened to a chisel point which sticks into the tree.
