Metal horseshoe consisting of steel formed in a rounded "U" shape. This is a "standard" shoe without corrective features or traction devices. Four of the holes for shoe nails have portions of nails in them, with the nail head visible on the bottom, and the nail body severed even with the top (or foot) side. After so treating the nails, the entire shoe has been painted with orange paint. On both the top and bottom sides, some paint has worn off and rust is apparent.
