Cast iron hammer head with short wooden handle used to make “end marks” on lumber and logs. The iron head has a wide face on one side with the letters "ACP" (in mirror image) projecting so as to make a corresponding indented set of letters in a log end. The other side of the iron head tapers to a smaller face with the letter "Y" projecting. The wooden handle has been broken to its current length.
