Description

McGee's Auto Repair Sign, Unknown Date. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a sign for McGee's Auto Repair. The sign reads "McGee's AUTO REPAIR," "MAJOR & MINOR REPAIRS," "491-6620," "ALL MAKES" and "+DOMESTIC, +FOREIGN, +TRUCKS." This sign is mounted on a brick wall. Visible in the lower-left corner of the image is a drinking fountain mounted to the brick wall. There appears to be a Fanta soda can laying on its side in the drinking fountain. McGee's Auto Repair was located at 4604 Sleater-Kinney Road Southeast in Lacey, Washington. The location also included a gas station and convenience store. It was owned by Doug McGee.
