KGY, 1979. This single black and white contact strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two men seated at an L-shaped desk in an office. One of the men has hair parted toward his left and a beard, He is wearing a turtleneck sweater and slacks. The other man has hair parted at the center and a mustache and is wearing glasses. He is wearing a button-up, collared shirt and slacks. Image 31 shows the bearded man sitting in a chair in front of a typewriter. His body is turned toward the left-hand side of the image frame, but his head is turned toward the camera and he is looking at the camera. The man with glasses is seated is front of a different typewriter, and is almost the same position as the other man. There is a large window at the far end of the office which looks onto a grassy field. this image is oriented horizontally. Images 32 and 33 are nearly identical to image 31. Image 34 is similar to the previous three images, but here the photographer has moved several feet to their left. This image is oriented vertically. Image 35 is very similar to image 34, but here the image is oriented horizontally. Image 36 is very similar to image 35. Image 35 and 36 overlap partially. Image 41 shows a closer-up shot of the two men than seen in the previous images. Here the man with the mustache has moved closer to the bearded man. This image is oriented vertically. Image 42 is nearly identical to image 41, but this image is oriented horizontally. Image 43 is very similar to image 42, but here the bearded man is smiling and the man is glasses is looking toward the left-hand side of the image frame. Image 44 shows the bearded man looking at a small piece of paper with text on it in his right hand. The man with the glasses is also looking at the piece of paper. Image 1 is nearly identical to image 44.
