To its right are objects which might be rail cars, and also pilings. Further up the hill are other structures and in the background are trees. Objects along the shore are reflected in the water. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#648" and "8/31/35". On the back is what appears to be "A 7" and in pencil is "8/31/35".
The photo is inserted, along with a negative of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "Olympia August 31, 1935 Float house Taken from West Fourth Avenue bridge". Stamped is "648" and "indexed".Made/Created
