Description

Saint Martin's College Pavilion, 1978. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newpaper. These images show several groups of young men playing basketball outside of the Saint Martin's College Pavilion. Image 43 shows one young man attempting a hook shot while two other men standing nearby each hold one basketball. The basketball hoop nearest to the camera is extending into the shot from the top-left corner of the image. Several other groups are visible playing basketball in the background. The pavilion is visible in the background. Large letters attached to the side of the pavilion read "SAINT MARTIN'S COLLEGE PAVILION." Image 44 is similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has moved to their left by approximately fifteen feet. Here a young man without a shirt on is attempting a lay-in. Here the basketball hoop is extending into the image from the top-right corner. Image 1 is very similar to the previous image, but here a young man in a t-shirt is attempting a shot. Image 2 is very similar to image 1, but here the young man is attempting a lay-in.
