Description

Zinc and glass lid for a canning jar. The gray lid has female threads to fit onto the male threads of a mason jar. Embossed on the lid is the Ball logo "Ball". The inside of the lid has a white milk glass liner. No embossings were detected on the liner. The lid has a circle of 2" on the top and the liner has a 1.25" circle. The zinc is lightly corroded, particularly on the inside with accretions/powdery white spots and also rust. The sealing edge has a dent that would prevent its use.
