Description

Zinc and glass lid for a canning jar. The gray lid has female threads to fit onto the male threads of a mason jar. On the top of the zinc is embossed "Ball". There is a 2" circle impressed on the top. The inside of the lid has a white milk glass lining. The liner has 1.25" and 1.75" concentric circles in the center. The zinc is corroded with accretions/powdery white spots. There are indentions at the sealing edge which would prevent a good seal. As such the lid is unusable. There is dirt and grime, particularly on the liner.
