Description

Zinc and glass lid for a canning jar. The gray lid has female threads to fit onto the male threads of a mason jar. There are 1" and 2" concentric circles impressed on the top. The inside of the lid has a white milk glass liner. The liner has a 1.25" circle in the center and a 1.75" protrusion in the glass. the zinc is corroded with accretions/powdery white spots. The sealing edge has a slight red coloring possibly from contact with a rubber sealing gasket.
