Description

Wooden plaque (a) on which is a brass plate, a silver-colored wreath and torch image, and a wooden gavel (b) with a brass strip around the head, which gavel is held onto the surface by a spring-loaded clip. On the brass plate is printed "To The Honorable A. G. Homann in recognition of Generous and Dedicated service as the First Mayor of the City of Lacey, Washington Dec. 12, 1966 - Jan. 10, 1972". On the brass ring around the head of the gavel is printed "Mayor A. G. Homann". On the back is a silver-colored chain for hanging and a stamp stating "A-1 Trophy Co. 2420 East 4th, Olympia, Wash, 357-3532 (?)"
