Description

Wood and metal (copper) printer's plate used to transfer an image to paper. The copper plate has been engraved with an image and is intended for use in an offset printing press. The plate is attached to a wooden block with small nails so as to fit in the printing tray of the press. This plate was used in printing the Lacey School annual "Rosebud" and is a picture of the 1925 boy's baseball team. First row (L to R) Chester Southwick, Henry Wurn, Gwin Hicks Jr., Mr. Willard G. Miller, Oscar Thelander, Bret Huntamer, and Fred Daley. Second row, Bjarne Nelson, Bertle Thelander, William Naismith, Albert Hangge, Dorus Quasebarth, and Harold Skinner.
