Description

Wood and metal (copper) printer's plate used to transfer an image to paper. The copper plate has been engraved with an image and is intended for use in an offset printing press. The plate is attached to a wooden block with small nails so as to fit in the printing tray of the press. This plate was used in printing the Lacey School annual "Rosebud" and is a picture of the 1931 girl's indoor baseball team. First row (L to R) Nonie Russell, Julia Shrewbury, Mary Iyall, Kathryn Dodge, Margaret Dent, Clarice Watson, Eleanor Suslik, and Lucy Daly. Second row Miss Dorothy Jacobson, Geneva Scott, Annie Kramer, Florence Ulery, Edna Wooster, and Geraldine Dimmick.
