Black and white negative of a locomotive. From the right side to the center is a railroad track and in the center is the locomotive tender with the locomotive cab partially visible above it. At the bottom of the tender are standing boards, a coupler, and coupling levers. There are grab irons and a brake wheel on the right side of the tender body. Painted on the back of the tender is "capy 7000 gals". At the top of the tender body is a rear-facing head light. bits of trees are visible on the left side. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "Olympia #823 7/12/37".
The negative is inserted, along with a print of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "Olympia 7/12/37 Rear view of locomotive". stamped is "823" and "indexed".Made/Created
