Description

Wood and metal (copper) printer's plate used to transfer an image to paper. The copper plate has been engraved with an image and is intended for use in an offset printing press. The plate is attached to a wooden block with small nails so as to fit in the printing tray of the press. This plate was used in printing the Lacey School annual "Rosebud" and is a picture of the 1931 graduating class (8th Grade). First row (L to R) Willard Miller, Harry Firkins, Edgar Morris, Wesley Smith, Earl Pritchard, Richard Levesque, Pershing Wright, and Ford Mullen. Second row Margaret Miller, Julia Shrewsbury, Esther Akers, Margaret Dent, Kathryn Dodge, Florence Ulery, Clarice Watson, Eleanor Hartman, Mary Iyall, and Wleanor Suslik. Third row Mr. Willard Miller, Burton Lockhart, Robert Bridges, James Riley, Ernest Cheadle, and Kenneth Mayes.
