Description

Wood and metal (copper) printer's plate used to transfer an image to paper. The copper plate has been engraved with an image and is intended for use in an offset printing press. The plate is attached to a wooden block with small nails so as to fit in the printing tray of the press. The plate was used in printing the Lacey school annual "Rosebud," and is a picture of the 1928 girls baseball team. First row (L to R) Marguerite Warren, Elsie Huntamer, and Elaine Strewart. Second row Miss Dorothy Jacobson, Ruth Heusman, Betty Ann Dent, Helen Barnard, Mabelle Rackman, Hidur Larson, Mildred Goforth, Cleo Gillis, Leona Peterson, and Miss Evelyn Johnson.
