Black and white negative of a pet parade in Olympia. In the foreground are 20 or more bicycles being ridden or pushed along the street. On the far side of the street are automobiles parked with spectators sitting in the cars or standing between them. Beyond the cars is a sidewalk with more spectators, and above the sidewalk is a fixed awning. Above that is part of a building with a row of windows. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "Olympia #973 8/27/38".
The negative is inserted, along with a print of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "Olympia 8/27/38 Pet Parade from my office window". Stamped is "973" and "indexed". Red pencil has crossed out the "973" and written "972".Made/Created
