Description

Wood and metal (copper) printer's plate used to transfer an image to paper. The copper plate has been engraved with an image and is intended for use in an offset printing press. The plate is attached to a wooden block with small nails so as to fit in the printing tray of the press. The plate was use in printing the Lacey school annual "Rosebud," and is a picture of the 1928 school faculty. First row (L to R) Miss Elizabeth Gerlitz, Miss Dorothy Jacobson, Miss Elizabeth Newman, Miss Olga Ryan, Miss Grace Hayen, and Miss Evelyn Johnson. Second row Mr. C. M. Manley, and Mr. Willard G. Miller.
