Description

Wood and metal (copper) printer's plate used to transfer an image to paper. The copper plate has been engraved with an image and is intended for use in an offset printing press. The plate is attached to a wooden block with small nails so as to fit in the printing tray of the press. The plate was used in the printing of the Lacey school annual "Rosebud," and is a picture of the feature "This is the Life." The plate consists of 7 drawings including persons in bed, in an airplane, and in a cradle. The words "This is the Life" are printed randomly from top to bottom.
