Description

Vintage Wooden Tie Rack with Gibson Girl Image . The base is a thin piece of wood that is oval shaped with some scallops. Two wooden pins near the bottom hold a wooden dowel rod upon which objects can be hung. The face of the base has, using a wood-burning technique, an image of a Gibson Girl, cherries on a twig, the artist's initials (W S), and the words "don't mind my eyes just hang your ties". On the back are two brass circles for hanging the rack on a wall.
