The barge has a flat deck on which are white cylindrical tanks and a hoisting boom. There are letters or numbers on the right side of the hull. Other ships and the far shore are visible in the background. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "Olympia #1114 7/31/39".
The negative is inserted, along with a print of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "Olympia 7/31/39 Oil tank barge - end view". Stamped is "1114" and "indexed".Made/Created
