Description

Black and white photo of an oil barge and a tug boat. In the foreground are pilings and cross beams. Across open water is a tug boat moored next to an oil barge which is moored at a dock. The tug has a dark hull and white superstructure. The barge has a dark hull and white tanks on its deck. There are structures and utility poles beyond the dock. There is a white border on all sides and in the bottom border is "Olympia #1116 7/31/39". On the back is an oval stamp that says "certainteed guaranteed Aug 3 1939 process". Stamped is "10". The photo is inserted, along with a negative of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "Olympia 7/31/39 Tug with oil tank barge". Stamped is "1116" and "indexed".
