Heather Highmiller, 1975. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a woman (Heather Highmiller) cutting a watermelon on a table next to an indoor basketball court. A handful of children are watching. Ms. Highmiller has medium-length, wavy air and is wearing glasses and a sleeveless sweater with a mid-thigh length skirt. Image 19 shows the woman cutting the watermelon. The woman is on the right-hand side of the image facing toward the left, and is bending forward slightly as she cuts the watermelon. Several children sitting on the table on which the watermelon is being cut are visible at the left-hand side of the image. Image 20 is similar to the previous image, but here the woman is not cutting the watermelon. Image 21 is very similar to image 21, but here more children are visible. Image 22 shows the same scene as the previous images, but here the image was captured from behind and to the left of the woman. Image 23 shows the woman bending forward slightly and turning her head to her right to smile at the camera. One little girl is to the left of the woman, and two boys are to the right of the woman.
