Lakefair Princesses, 1974. These three black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show six different young women posing separately for portrait-style photos. Image 15 shows a young woman with very long, slightly wavy hair wearing a turtleneck sweater with a blazer over it. There is a circular patch on the left breast of the blazer, but it is not readable in this image. Her body is turned slightly toward the right-hand side of the image frame and her face is turned toward the camera. She is smiling. Image 16 shows the same young woman as in the previous image, but here the young woman's head and body are turned partially toward the left-hand side of the image frame. She is looking toward the camera and smiling. Here it can be seen that the badge is for the Capital Lakefair. Image 17 shows a young woman with wavy, medium-length hair wearing an outfit identical to that worn by the young woman in images 15 and 16. Her head and body are turned partially toward the right-hand side of the image frame. She is looking toward the camera and smiling. There is a strap over her left shoulder. Image 18 shows the same young woman as in the previous image, but here her head and body are turned partially toward the left-hand side of the image. Image 19 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 20 shows a young woman with long, wavy hair wearing an identical to that worn by the two women described previously. Her head and body are turned partially toward the right-hand side of the image frame. This young woman also has a strap over her left shoulder. Image 21 is very similar to the previous image, but here the young woman's head and body are turned partially toward the left-hand side of the image frame. Image 22 shows another young woman in the same outfit as the previous young women. Image 23 is similar to the previous image, but here the young woman's head and body are turned slightly toward the left-hand side of the image frame. Her hair is blowing in the wind slightly. Image 24 shows a different young woman with long, wavy hair wearing the same outfit as all of the other young women shown in these images. She is facing toward the camera and smiling. Image 25 shows the same young woman as in the previous image, but here her head and body are turned partially toward the left-hand side of the image frame. Image 26 shows a young woman with long, straight hair wearing a blazer-type jacket with a floral print on the lapels and a matching top underneath. Her head and body are turned partially toward the right-hand side of the image frame, but she is looking toward the camera and smiling. Image 27 is very similar to the previous image, but here the young woman is not smiling. Image 28 is nearly identical to image 26. Image 29 is similar to the previous three images, but here the young woman is blinking. Image 30 is nearly identical to images 26 and 28.
