Description

Mission-style oak wall clock with beveled corners, consisting of four parts: A: main clock body, B: pendulum rod, C: pendulum bob, and D: winding key. The clock appears to be hand crafted; there are no maker's marks, other than on the pendulum bob. Each of the numbers on the clock face is of a bronze-colored metal in a serif font, which is different than all of the other metals on the clock. There are two decorative hands and two winding keyholes. There is a metal tab with a hole in it at the top back for hanging. Two parallel wooden slats are attached the length of the back and 12" below. Another slat is horizontally placed connecting the two other slats about 2 inches from the bottom. A rectangular hole is cut in the bottom of the clock body with a hook to connect the pendulum rod to the clock. The oak pendulum rod has two thin vertical and two horizontal slats to decoratively mirror the slats on the clock body. The pendulum bob is a manufactured metal disk with 2 molded openings or fasteners that the rod can slide through. It is held in place with a tapered cone shaped bolt which is attached to a threaded rod coming out of the bottom of the pendulum rod. A golden hook at the top of the pendulum rod hooks on to the pin from inside the clock.
