Description

Medic One Supporters Town Meeting, 1973. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show three men posing with a sign and approximately 25-30 people attending a meeting. Image 41 shows three men posing with a rectangular sign which reads "MEDIC ONE." Two men are standing behind the sign, and one is standing to the right of the sign. The man to the right of the sign is wearing what is likely a paramedic uniform. All three men are looking toward the camera and smiling. Images 42 through 44 and 1 through 2 are nearly identical to image 41. Image 18 shows approximately 25-30 people seated on benches in a large room which appears to be a gym. Bill Bush and Dick Johnson are visible sitting in the left-hand half of the image. A woman who appears to be Karen Fraser and a man who appears to be Tom Huntamer are seated near Bush and Johnson. Image 19 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 20 shows a man with glasses wearing a suit and tie standing behind a podium. A basketball hoop is above the man's head. An American flag on a pole is visible to the left of the man and closer to the camera. The man is facing toward the right-hand side of the image frame. Image 21 again shows the people seated on the benches at the meeting. Printed in alternation along one long edge of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
