Tumwater Play, 1976. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two young men (Kevan Hagen, standing, and Harlan Zinck seated in wheelchair) and one young woman (Bemi Webley) rehearsing a scene in a play. One of the young men is standing and is wearing a button-up shirt and an apron. The other young man is seated and is wearing glasses and a suit. The woman is wearing a sun hat, glasses, a large bow around her neck, an apron and gloves. These images show scenes from a rehearsal of the play "Tell Me That You Love Me Junie Moon" put on by the Tumwater High School Drama club on on March 23-25, 1976.
Image 6 shows the standing young man at left, the seated young man at center and the young woman at the right. The standing young man is looking at the seated young man, and the seated young man is looking upward. The young woman is facing away from the camera and has a hand on her hip. Image 7 shows the standing young man speaking to the young woman. The seated young man is not visible in this image. This image is oriented vertically. Image 8 is similar to the previous image, but here the young woman appears to be in a trance. Image 9 shows the young woman with hands on hips and speaking to the seated young man. The seated young man is occupying the bottom-left corner of the image, and he is shown in profile. Image 10 shows the standing young man speaking to the young woman. The young woman's face is visible in the lower-right corner of the image. She is either speaking or feigning surprise. Image 11 shows the standing young man with his arms crossed.
