Unidentified People, 1974. These five black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show thirteen different people posing individually for photos, and one landscape.
Image 44 shows a landscape photo showing wooded hills and a single tall building in the distance visible through a gap between trees. Image 1 shows an older woman (maybe E.M. Myer) with wavy hair worn up wearing a patterned, button-up shirt. Her head is turned toward the right-hand side of the image. She is not smiling, and she is shown from the chest up. The woman is standing in front of a stone wall. Image 2 shows a woman (Karen Fraser) also standing in front of a stone wall. She has medium-length, straight hair and is wearing glasses. Her head and body are turned toward the right-hand side of the image frame. Image 3 is similar to the previous image, but here Ms. Fraser is standing with her torso facing the camera and her head turned toward the left-hand side of the image frame. Her arms are crossed in front of her. She is smiling. Image 4 shows a man (may be Lucas Guzman) with thick, slicked-back hair standing in front of the stone wall. His head and body are turned toward the right-hand side of the image frame. He is wearing a striped, collared shirt. There is what appears to be a wallet or check book in his breast pocket. He is smiling. Image 5 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 6 shows a man (may be Carlos Quiles) with his hair parted to his right and thick eyebrows. He is wearing a thin jacket. His torso is oriented toward the camera, and he is looking off toward the left of the camera. He is not smiling. Image 7 shows a woman (may be Bobbie Hoddle) with wavy hair worn up wearing a collared, sleeveless shirt. She is also in front of the stone wall. Her torso is oriented toward the camera and she is looking off toward the left of the camera. Image 8 is very similar to the previous image, but here the woman is looking off toward the right of the camera. Image 9 shows a girl (may be Sally Hopkins) with long, straight hair wearing glasses and a corduroy coat. She is holding an object in her right arm with "THE BOOK MARK" printed on it. She is in front of the stone wall. Her head and torso are turned partially toward the right-hand side of the image. Image10 is very similar to the previous image, but here the girl's head and torso are oriented toward the left-hand side of the image. Image 11 shows an older man (Virgil Keller) wearing a fedora and a collared shirt. He is in front of the stone wall. He is looking off toward the right of the camera. Image 12 is very similar to the previous image, but here the man is looking off toward the left-hand side of the image. Image 13 shows an older woman (maybe be Ardys Rothrock) with loosely-curly hair wearing glasses and a light jacket over a v-neck top. She is also in front of the stone wall. Her torso is oriented toward the camera, and she is looking off toward the left-hand side of the image frame. Image 14 is very similar to the previous image, but here the woman is facing toward the right-hand side of the image frame. Image 15 shows a woman (may be Pat Van Antwerp) with fairly short, slightly wavy hair wearing a collared shirt with a floral pattern on it. She is in front of the stone wall. She is looking off toward the left-hand side of the image frame. Image 20 shows an older, bald man wearing glasses and a suit and tie. His torso is turned toward the right-hand side of the image, but he is looking toward the camera and smiling. Image 21 is very similar to the previous image, but here the man is turned toward the left-hand side of the image. Image 22 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 23 is similar to the previous three images, but here the man's head and torso are turned toward the camera. The man's face is tipped upward slightly. Image 24 shows an older man with slicked-back hair wearing a suit and patterned tie. He is standing in front of a brick wall. His head and body are turned partially toward the right-hand side of the image frame. Image 25 is very similar to the previous image, but here the man is facing toward the camera. Image 26 is similar to image 24, but here the man's head is turned toward the camera and he is smiling. Image 27 is similar to image 24, but here the man's head and body are turned more toward the right-hand side of the image frame. Image 28 shows a man with slicked-back hair wearing a suit and striped tie. His head and body are turned partially toward the right-hand side of the image frame. He is standing in front of a brick wall, and he is not smiling.
Printed in alternation along one long edge of each of these film strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
