Old Lacey Police Station, 1976. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show the Russell House (later the Lacey Museum) when it housed the Lacey Police Station. Also shown is a garage or large storage shed behind the Lacey Fire Station. This strip has no physical numbers to differentiate between images, so the images will be numbered 1-5, from left to right. Image 1 shows the front and left-hand sides of the police station. Visible at the right-hand side of the image is a portion of the front of the fire station. Image 12 is nearly identical to image 11. Image 13 shows the front side of the police station. A small portion of the fire station is still visible at the right-hand edge of the image. The Lacey City Hall building is visible in the background on the left-hand side of the image. Image 14 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 15 shows a garage or large shed made of wood, which is behind the fire department. The fire department is partially visible behind the shed.Made/Created
