Lacey Museum, c. 1980. This single contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a gathering of people which appears to have taken place at the Lacey Museum. All of these images are severely faded, so details are very difficult to make out. Image 42 shows a rectangular object which appears to be a sign sitting on top of a table. The sign is not readable. Image 43 shows three people standing outdoors. The taller man with a beard appears to be Father John Scott. This image was likely captured outside of the Lacey Museum. Image 44 shows 12-15 people standing outdoors. An object with very large, spoked wheels is visible in the lower-right quadrant of the image. This object appears to be an irrigation apparatus or perhaps a wheeled plow. Image 1 shows four people standing in a room. Image 2 shows three children in Boy Scout (or a similar group) uniforms. One is holding an American flag. The others are saluting. this image was captured in front of the Lacey Museum. Three to four people are standing on the museum's front porch.
These images may show the dedication ceremony for the Lacey Museum.Made/Created
