Archie Knowles, 1980. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show an older, bald man (Archie Knowles) with glasses wearing a tie and a houndstooth jacket seated at a desk and looking at a document. Image 28 shows Mr. Knowles looking down at a spiral-bound document he is holding in his hands. There is a stapler on the desk in front of him. A man with a mustache in a corduroy jacket is partially visible at the left-hand edge of the image. A spiral-bound document is in this man's hand. This document appears to be a copy of the 1981 City of Lacey budget. Image 29 shows Mr. Knowles holding the City of Lacey budget document in his hands and looking down toward it. Here the man in the corduroy jacket's left arm is visible at the left-hand edge of the image.
