Archie Knowles, 1980. This single black and white contact print strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show an older, bald man (Archie Knowles) with glasses wearing a tie and a houndstooth jacket seated at a desk and looking at a document. Image 28 shows Mr. Knowles looking down at a spiral-bound document he is holding in his hands. There is a stapler on the desk in front of him. A man with a mustache in a corduroy jacket is partially visible at the left-hand edge of the image. A spiral-bound document is in this man's hand. This document appears to be a copy of the 1981 City of Lacey budget. Image 29 shows Mr. Knowles holding the City of Lacey budget document in his hands and looking down toward it.
