Description

South Sound National Bank and South Sound Realty, Unknown Dates. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show four women and five men in business wear standing in a line for a group photo. Several of them are passing small pieces of paper to one another. All of them are looking toward the camera. They are in a room with many framed pieces of art on the wall. A door opening into the room is visible at the right-hand edge of the image. A sign on this door reads "BOARD ROOM." There is a semi-circle of small desks similar to school desks in the foreground. Each of these desks has a name placard on the front. Only two of these plcards are readable. One reads "ROBERT B OLSON" and the other reads "ARTHUR EECKHOUT" or perhaps "ARTHUR BECKHOUT." All of these images (7-13) are nearly identical to each other. Printed at intervals along the top edge of both of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."
