Description

Lacey Library, Unknown Date. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show an older woman showing a book and a card catalog to a young person in one of the Lacey library buildings (it is unclear which library location is shown in these images). Image 16 shows an older woman with medium-length hair wearing glasses, a blazer and plaid pants looking down at a book in her hands. A young person with a large amount of very curly hair wearing a plaid shirt is standing next to the woman and looking down at the book. The woman and young person are shown from roughly the knees up. A library shelf is visible on the left-hand side of the image. Image 17 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 18 is very similar to the previous two images, but here the woman and young person are shown from approximately the waist up. Image 19 shows the woman flipping through a card catalog (the cards/open drawer are obscured by the top of the catalog. Both the woman and the young man are looking down toward the cards. Both people are shown from the waist up. Image 20 is very similar to the previous image, but here the photographer has moved backward and slightly toward the left in relation to the previous image. Printed at intervals along the right-hand long side of this strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5063."
