Description

Black and white photograph (scanned copy) of the intersection of Lacey Boulevard, Pacific Avenue, and Homann Drive. The streets are unpaved and a man is leading four horses east on Pacific. A car can be seen ahead of them on the left. At the bottom (north side) is A. G. Homann Construction (built 1947) and the fire hall and fire tanker to the northwest. Across Pacific Avenue on the south side is the house that Al Homann purchased and renovated (on Lacey's Historic Register) and the expanse of land that was once the racetrack.

Made/Created

Date made

circa 1949 - circa 1959

Notes

A. G. Construction moved to Lacey in 1947 and the Fire Department was organized in 1949, so this image must be after that, probably c. 1950s.
