There is dirt or grass in the foreground, and above are cables and catwalks descending to the ground. In the middle background is a timber structure and the booms of a crane. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#2012 1/2040".
The negative is inserted, along with a print of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "January 20, 1940 Narrows Bridge at Tacoma Eastern anchorage from the same point but in the opposite direction used in #2011". Stamped is "2012" and "indexed".Made/Created
