Saint Martin's College Capital Pavilion, 1973. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two men on ladders either placing or removing the letters of the sign reading "CAPITAL PAVILION" on the front exterior wall of the Capital Pavilion (later renamed Marcus Pavilion) on the Saint Martin's campus. Image 14 shows the two men on ladders working with the sign letters. The side of the pavilion takes up virtually the entire image frame. A third man is visible standing near the base of the right-hand ladder. Image 15 is nearly identical to the previous image. Image 16 is similar tot he previous two images, but here the man on the left-hand ladder has descended and is standing near the bottom of his ladder. The photographer has also zoomed out or moved farther away from the pavilion. Here it can be seen that the two ladders the men were on were on top of a small roof which overhangs the entrances of the pavilion. Image 17 is similar to the previous images, but here the photographer has moved to their left an much closer to the front of the pavilion. The image looks down the front of the pavilion toward the right.
Printed along the bottom edge of this strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
