Description

Black and white photo of a barge ready for launching. There is gravel in the foreground along with pieces of wood. In the middle background is the stern of a large barge. The barge has a dark hull except below the water line it is lighter. The numbers 1 trough 5 are painted on the stern, and on the side is "No. 10 Har?er". There is superstructure on the deck, and a man is standing there. There is a white border on all sides, and in the bottom border is "#2045 4/22/40". On the back is "245E". The photo is inserted, along with a negative of the image, into a cream colored envelope that has typed "4/22/40 -- Olympia Cornell #10 being moved into position for launching by Reliable Welding Works". Stamped is "2045" and "indexed".
